NOTHING TO ENVY - Pilot

Animated pilot for a feature film ‘NOTHING TO ENVY’ based on real events.

In 2015, Andy Glynne from Mosaic Films approached me to develop a pilot for a feature animated film inspired by Barbara Demick's book 'Nothing to Envy.' The book chronicles the gripping tales of six individuals grappling with life in North Korea. Our team enlisted the talents of Rebecca Dautremer to bring the characters to life with her distinctive illustrative style. Collaborating with Allan Fernando as the lead character animator and Tom Clohosy Cole as the background designer, we successfully crafted an animated pilot that captured the essence of this compelling narrative.
