ABOUT ME

Hi, I am an Animation Creative Director. Currently living between the Uk and Italy.

Sometimes in the role of Creative Director, Motion Designer, Compositor Artist or Director on Animated projects like advertisements, promos, learning content, animated documentaries, or Explainers.

As a Motion Designer, I worked in the corporative and commercial sector as well as branding and advertisement. My passion is developing ideas while designing the visual storyline to create an engaging narrative and using an innovative design created from the client brief. I love challenging projects. I’m involved from the initial concept, pitch, presentation, development, storyboard, design, Illustration, background design, animatic, animation, compositing, and editing;

The projects I have led as an Animation Director have won us various awards including 3 x BAFTAs for ‘Animated Minds’ 2010, ‘Seeking Refugee’ 2012 and ‘I Can’t Go To School Today’ in 2017, also RTS Award; City of Basel Prize; and the Mental Health Media Award, my shorts animation have been on: Ottawa International Animation Festival, British Animation Awards festival, Encounters Animation festival, DOK Leipzig, the Holland Animation Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, and Edinburgh International Film Festival, also I have been shortlisted for Oscars animated shorts 2011. I have also published 5 children's books based on my previous animated series.

I’m very familiar with working with clients and translating what they want into a visual coherent narrative story; I can adapt to budgets and deadlines and different styles. below you can find a link to my CV for more detailed information

WORK MENU

Under ANIMATION you can find all the story-based form like animated documentaries, short films or character-based animation. In MOTION DESIGN all the animated infographics and explainers vector-based. In COMPOSITING you will find all the Advertisement, Promos, Explainer Educational series using archived images, footage or CG. Under DESIGN there are some of the designs, concepts and Art Direction I have created for my animations
